Chennai: Actor Vijay came to cast his vote in the Lok Sabha elections despite being busy with shooting. Vijay came from Russia to cast his vote.
Vijay got injured in the crowd . The actor cast his vote at a polling booth in Neelangari, Kapaleeshwaran Nagar. The problem was that the fans overstepped their bounds and tried to reach the winner’s side.
It is reported that the actor suffered minor injuries. Footage of the actor trying to escape from the crowd has gone viral on social media. The actor was in Russia for the shooting of Goat movie and arrived in Chennai in the morning.
Vijay is currently acting in the film directed by Venkat Prabhu. The original title of the film, which is said to be The Goat, is The Greatest of All Time. It is reported that the film’s overseas schedule has been completed. The new schedule is in Tamil Nadu itself. The shooting of Vaikare will begin in Chennai. The fantasy drama film will hit the theaters in September.
