After the Hema Committee report was released, several complaints emerged against prominent figures in the film industry. In a case filed by an actress from Aluva, allegations were raised against Mukesh, Jayasurya, Idavela Babu, Balachandra Menon, and four others from the industry.
However, the actress has decided to withdraw her complaint, citing a lack of support from the government. Her withdrawal follows the initiation of an investigation into the case.
In addition to the actors, allegations were also made against individuals including Noble, Bichu, and Adv. Chandrasekharan from the Congress Lawyers Association. These individuals also cited insufficient governmental backing as the reason for withdrawing their complaints.
