Sabarimala witnessed its highest footfall of the season yesterday, with 77,026 devotees visiting the shrine. This brings the total number of pilgrims in the first seven days of the season to 4,51,097.
To ensure adequate facilities for the influx of devotees, the Water Authority and Devaswom Board have implemented extensive arrangements to provide clean drinking water. Under the initiative Pampa Theertham, purified water is being supplied from Pampa to Sannidhanam through 106 drinking water kiosks strategically installed along the pilgrimage route.
