Another suicide at the medical college. The patient, who was under COVID observation, committed suicide. Nasuriddin, a native of Vayala, Kollam, committed suicide. He was being monitored by Kovid before the operation. Nasriddin was found dead by a nurse who arrived at his room for daily check-ups this morning. He was immediately admitted to the ICU but died at 10:30 p.m.
He was admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College with a fracture all over his body after he fell from a tree. Doctors had advised him to undergo surgery. However, Kovid later showed symptoms and was kept in a separate room.
Earlier, two people had committed suicide at the medical college while Kovid was under observation. The government had announced an inquiry into the incident. Meanwhile, a third suicide has taken place.
