In Kollam, a woman was caught with 40 grams of MDMA during a medical examination

In the case of the seizure of 50 grams of MDMA in Kollam, police recovered more MDMA from the woman during a medical examination. A total of 40.45 grams of MDMA was found concealed in her private parts. With this, the total amount of MDMA seized from Anila Ravindran reached 90.45 grams. The police arrested the accused yesterday evening in Kollam.

The accused, Anila Ravindran, is a 34-year-old resident of Edavattom, Perinad. She was caught yesterday by a joint operation of the Shakthikulangara police and the city DANSAF team with 50 grams of MDMA. The police apprehended her while she was traveling by car from Bengaluru.

When the police signaled the car to stop near Neendakara Bridge, the driver did not comply, leading to a dramatic chase before the vehicle was intercepted. The MDMA was found hidden inside the car. Anila Ravindran is already an accused in a previous MDMA case. The police revealed that she was supplying MDMA targeting school and college students in Kollam city.
