Delhi: The price of domestic LPG cylinders has been increased after a brief interval. The cost of a 14-kg cylinder has gone up by ₹50. Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, the price has risen from ₹500 to ₹550. For consumers not covered under the scheme, the price has increased from ₹803 to ₹853.
Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri announced the hike during a press conference held in Delhi. The revised prices will come into effect from Tuesday. The minister also mentioned that LPG prices will be reviewed twice every month moving forward.
