Bridge Collapse; Indian Crew Racist Cartoon Sparks Outrage

New Delhi: Foxford Comics, based in the US, racially abused Indian employees in the incident of the bridge collapse in Baltimore. The cartoon has been criticized for being racist. The cartoon was published with the caption Scenes just before the ship hit the bridge.

A few crew members, weard half-cloths, are pictured cowering in the ship’s control room. Many people came forward with widespread criticism against the cartoon. The criticism is that the Indian crew who opportunistically intervened during the accident were racially insulted.

The cartoon shows Indians screaming with their hands on their heads as the muddy water rushes into the ship. Some have turbans on their heads. Along with this, a recording of them blaming each other and using obscenities has also been added to the cartoon.
