Nirmala Sitharaman rejects the opposition’s allegations, Not all states can be named in the budget

New Delhi: Not all states can be mentioned in the budget. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman dismissed opposition allegations against Union Budget. The finance minister also said that it does not mean that the states should be spared by not mentioning their names. Nirmala Sitharaman also opined that the opposition is misleading the people. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also asked the opposition to show respect for democracy and listen to what he has to say.

Mallikarjun Kharge says that I did not name many states in the budget and only talked about two states. The Congress party has been in power for a long time in the country. They have presented several budgets. Nirmala Sitharaman said that the Congress clearly knows that it cannot name all the states of the country in every budget.

Union cabinet meeting took decision for Vadavan port. But the name of Maharashtra was not mentioned in the budget. Does this mean that Maharashtra has been neglected? This is a deliberate attempt by the Congress-led opposition to create an impression among the people that nothing has been given to the states. Nirmala Sitharaman said in the Rajya Sabha.

The opposition walked out of the Rajya Sabha alleging discrimination in the budget. Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala said that this is a budget to protect the chair and 90 percent of the people of the country have been left out.
