Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing soldiers on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Indian Army’s victory over the infiltrating Pakistan Army in Kargil. Prime Minister will talk to widows of martyred soldiers. Modi will also initiate the construction of the Shinku La Tunnel to facilitate the movement of troops along the border. The 4.1 km long twin tunnel is being constructed on the Nimmu – Patum – Darcha road at an altitude of 15,800 feet. It can be used in all weather conditions. It is the tallest tunnel in the world.
