Day after Pran Pratishtha,crores of devotees visited Ramlalla

1 crore 12 lakh devotees had the good fortune to see Ramlalla after 60 days of the dedication of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the holy land of Ram devotees. According to the data, only from January 22 to March 20, crores of devotees came to watch Ramlalla. Since then, many devotees have been coming to the temple for darshan and worship. The tourism department of the state said that the number of people visiting Ramlalla has increased significantly compared to last year. Every day between 1 and 1.25 lakh Rama devotees come to Ayodhya to have darshan of Ramlalla. Many devotees also attend the festivals organized on Tuesdays and this number is expected to increase further, officials said.

According to the figures of the tourism department, since the initiation of Deepotsavam in 2017, there has been a huge increase in the number of devotees reaching the birthplace of Sri Rama. A total of 1,78,57,858 in 2017. Devotees visited Ayodhya. Among them 1,78,32,717 Indians and 25,141 foreigners. In 2018, 1,95,34,824 Indians and 28,335 foreign tourists visited Ayodhya. A total of 1,95,63,159 devotees visited Ayodhya in 2018. In 2019, 2,04,91,724 devotees visited Ayodhya, including 2,04,63,403 Indians and 28,331 foreigners.

In 2020, the number of devotees decreased due to Corona. 61,96,148 devotees including 61,93,537 Indians and 2,611 foreigners visited Ayodhya. In 2021, 1,57,43,359 Indians and 431 foreign tourists visited Ayodhya. In 2022, 2,21,12,402 Indians and 26,403 foreign tourists visited Ayodhya. But by 2023, there has been a huge increase in this figure. A total of 5,75,15,423 devotees visited Ayodhya in 2023. Out of this 5,75,07,005 devotees are from India and 8418 are from abroad.

Not only the number of Indians coming to Ayodhya but also the number of foreign tourists is increasing. Tourism department officials informed that with the increase in the number of devotees, the job opportunities in Ayodhya are also increasing. Food places, hotels, restaurants and shops selling decorative items are now experiencing a huge rush of tourists. This is a great proof of development.
