Everyone was coming down through the hotel’s elevator. Lal’s daughter was among those who got off on the twelfth floor. But no one noticed that her daughter had come out. When he looked later, the child was nowhere to be found. Lal was completely panicked. Not knowing what to do, he went down to each floor in a frenzy to look for the child.
