Kochi. Thiruvananthapuram medical college student Shahna suicide case accused doctor EA Ruwais hit back. The division bench set aside the high court single bench order allowing Ruwais to continue his studies.
The Principal of Thiruvananthapuram Medical College approached the Division Bench in the case. Ruwais withdrew from the marriage due to dowry, the reason for Shahna’s suicide is the case.
Ruwais was granted bail in the case. Then he approached the High Court requesting to withdraw the suspension to continue his studies. Re-admitting a student before the conclusion of the investigation would violate even the bail conditions of not influencing or threatening witnesses etc., the principal said in the petition.
