Chengannur: A young man was arrested with 16 kg of ganja in his car. Pathanamthitta native Rahul K Reji was caught by excise.
The method of the accused was to buy ganja from Odisha and sell it in Kerala. Excise said that he was leading a luxurious life with the money he got from selling ganja. Rahul used to change vehicles regularly to avoid being caught.
Under the leadership of Special Squad Circle Inspector M Mahesh, the accused was caught from near Chengannur ITI Junction. The excise team consisted of Assistant Excise Inspector G Gopakumar, Preventive Officers M Renee and Om Karnath, Civil Excise Officer S Dileesh and Excise Driver PN Pradeep.
