Due to increased demand, Thiruvananthapuram North–Mangaluru special train service is being resumed

Due to the increase in passenger traffic, the Thiruvananthapuram North–Mangaluru special train service is being resumed. The service from Mangaluru will commence on the 12th, and the service from Thiruvananthapuram will start on the 13th.

The train departing from Mangaluru Junction will leave at 6:00 PM on Saturdays and reach Thiruvananthapuram North at 6:35 AM the next day. The return train will depart on Sundays at 6:40 PM and reach Mangaluru Junction at 7:00 AM the following day. The service runs via Alappuzha, with stops at Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalassery, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Junction, Alappuzha, Kayamkulam, and Kollam. The train will have 19 coaches.

The Thiruvananthapuram North–Chennai Tambaram AC special service has also been resumed. The train from Tambaram will depart on Fridays at 7:30 PM and arrive at Thiruvananthapuram North at 11:30 AM the next day. The return service will depart on Sundays at 3:25 PM and reach Tambaram at 7:40 AM the next day. This service runs via Kollam and Sengottai.
