Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin stated that the portions related to the Mullaperiyar Dam were removed from the film Empuraan. He made this remark in the state assembly.
Stalin explained that although the Censor Board had approved those parts of the film, they were removed following objections. The Chief Minister was responding to a question raised by TVK MLA T. Velmurugan.
