Govind Padmasoorya aka GP and Gopika Anil are a much-loved star couple for the Malayali audience. The two got married last year. Gopika and GP are currently celebrating their first wedding anniversary. Meanwhile, the star couple has revealed about their life after marriage in an interview.
I didn’t want to take this relationship forward until we met. GP says I’m very practical. I didn’t want someone from the same industry as my wife. But after meeting each other, I gradually changed my mind. I said, ‘Let’s try this, I think it will be okay.'” And Gopika is a very straight-forward person. GP added that there was no difficulty in understanding her.
I was a fan of D4Dance , but I didn’t want to like him just because of that. So I decided to say whatever I understood about the character. Although we talked every day, it took a year to reach a decision. After the wedding, we started falling in love more. Things were very practical until the wedding day. It was a wedding that was forced by the family. After the wedding, we were together most of the days. We understood each other more. If I had a shoot, Gopika would come there, and I would come back. Then, we traveled in our free time, says GP.
GP is a person who sets everything up very precisely. I am trying to achieve that, says Gopika. In the meantime, we had bought a new flat. My father named it ‘Gopura’ by combining the first letters of both our names. I was not very interested in establishing my life in Kochi. But seeing my chaotic life, my father asked me to buy a villa. That is how I acquired Gopura,’ added GP.
