High Court Takes Strong Action Against Suraj Palakkaran for Threatening Businessman and Spreading Fake News

The Kerala High Court has taken strict action against YouTuber Suraj Palakkaran for threatening a businessman and spreading fake news. The fake news targeted B.L.M., the country’s largest housing cooperative society, and its chairman R. Premkumar.

Following the court’s order, action will be taken by the police for the fake propaganda, abusive language, and threats spread through YouTube. The court’s directive is directly addressed to the DGP , further emphasizing the seriousness of the case.

The complaint alleged that Suraj Palakkaran spread fake news claiming that Premkumar, the chairman of B.L.M., was involved in transporting money during the Palakkad elections. The news also contained defamatory language and threats. The complaint called for legal action against these baseless and unsubstantiated claims.

In the case, the Kerala High Court has taken a firm stance against Suraj Palakkaran, directing the DGP to remove the unlawful videos. The court has also provided instructions to the DGP regarding further actions related to the case.
