Houses of two terrorists demolished in Pahalgam

The Jammu and Kashmir administration has sent a strong message that terrorism will not be tolerated by demolishing the houses of those involved in the Pahalgam terror attack. The district administration carried out the demolition of the homes belonging to terrorists who were part of the group responsible for killing 26 innocent people.

The demolished houses belonged to Asif Hussain from Tral and Adil Thokar from Bijbehara, both of whom were reportedly affiliated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba terror outfit. Prior intelligence had indicated their links to the group.

In the terror attack, 26 people were killed. The victims included:

3 from Gujarat

3 from Karnataka

6 from Maharashtra

2 from Bengal

1 each from Andhra Pradesh and Kerala

1 each from Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Kashmir, and Madhya Pradesh

1 person from Nepal also lost their life

The funeral of Ramachandran, the victim from Kochi, Kerala, will be held today.
