Israeli Couple Allegedly Insulted by Muslim Shopkeepers While Shopping in Kumily

In Kumily, Idukki district, an Israeli couple who visited a shop to purchase items was allegedly insulted by Muslim shopkeepers. Locals claim that the shopkeepers, driven by religious prejudice, evicted the couple once they learned they were from Israel.

The tourists had arrived to buy goods, but once the shopkeepers realized they were Israeli, they allegedly mistreated them and asked them to leave. However, nearby shopkeepers quickly intervened, apologized to the couple, and resolved the issue.
