As the spread of COVID intensified, 1.03 lakh students appeared for the Kerala Engineering and Architecture Medical Examination held today. The examination was conducted at 343 centers in Kerala, Delhi, Mumbai, and Dubai. The exam was held in the morning and afternoon. The Physics and Chemistry examination was held from 10 am to 12.30 pm and the Maths examination from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.

Although 1.10 lakh people had registered for the exam, only 1.03 lakh people had downloaded the hall tickets. The children started arriving at the examination hall as early as 8 am as COVID panicked. KSRTC had set up a bus on-demand facility. A special examination center was set up for those from the Critical Containment Zone. In Thiruvananthapuram, a special examination center was allotted to 60 students from Poonthura, where the COVID expansion is intense.

COVID safety standards violation of the scenes that prove security measures at several pictures came out today. Pictures and videos of students and parents of Kerala Entrance students from St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram are circulating on social media. It is reported that in many places in Kerala, students came to write exams in a similar manner. Thiruvananthapuram had the highest number of students appearing for the examination in the state.
