The UDF has released footage of the alleged removal of weapons from a car belonging to the campaign vehicle of K Radhakrishnan, the Left candidate for the Alathur Lok Sabha constituency. The footage was released by UDF candidate Ramya Haridas.
In the video, a person can be seen getting out of the vehicle and removing the weapons. Meanwhile, the CPM explained that the weapons were used to dismantle the campaign boards. The Chelakkara police clarified that they will call the people in the CCTV footage. Further action will be taken after verifying the authenticity of the footage, the police said. The police have not yet registered a case in the incident.
