Lok Sabha Speaker election will be held on 26th of this month. The JD(U) has announced that it will support the nominee of the largest party in the front, the BJP, for the post of Speaker.
The speaker is always of the ruling party because the ruling front has the highest number of members. KC Tyagi said. Tyagi criticized the opposition’s response that a BJP member would not become Lok Sabha Speaker.
The first session of the 18th Lok Sabha will begin on June 24. The first two days are the swearing in of new MPs. President Draupadi Murmu will address the joint session of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on June 27. The first conference will be held till July 3.
