Malavika recently shared that the pregnancy was unexpected and unplanned. Thejas, a mechanical engineer in the Merchant Navy, had pursued his passion for acting by joining Nayika Nayakan. The couple often expressed how their relationship grew steadily after deciding to marry. Malavika, who hails from Palakkad, and Thejas continued their friendship after the show, eventually leading to marriage.
