Sandra Thomas, a well-known producer and actor, has been expelled from the Producers’ Association on grounds of misconduct, as stated in an official notice from the association.
Sandra had earlier filed a complaint with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) against the association, leading to a police case. The Ernakulam Central Police registered an FIR based on her complaint. Sandra claimed that during a meeting related to film distribution, she was humiliated, with officials making sexually suggestive remarks towards her. As a female producer, she felt demeaned, which led her to file the complaint, Sandra explained.
