Thiruvananthapuram: The Delhi High Court is set to hear final arguments today in the petition filed by CMRL against the SFIO investigation into the monthly payment case linked to Exalogic, a company associated with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter, Veena Vijayan.
In an affidavit submitted to the court, the SFIO stated that the investigation is in its final stages. It also informed the court that the final report will be submitted to the central government within two weeks. Based on this report, the central government will decide whether to proceed with legal action.
The affidavit also revealed that Veena Vijayan has been questioned as part of the inquiry. The SFIO’s submission indicates that the case is moving into a critical phase. If the Delhi High Court grants permission, the decision to file a case against Veena Vijayan and others will rest with the central government.
