Malappuram: Mother killed new born baby. The mother killed and buried the three-day-old baby. The incident took place in Malappuram Thanur. In the incident, the mother of the child, Jumailath (29), a native of Tanur Ottumpuram, was arrested by the police.
According to Jumailam’s statement, the incident took place on the 26th. They gave birth to the baby at Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. This was the fourth delivery.
They came home from the hospital after giving birth and stayed with their three children and their mother. Jumailatha told the police that she killed the baby and buried it while watching the mother sleep.
She has been separated from her husband for more than a year. The woman told the police that she killed the baby because of the subsequent mental problems and so that no one else would know that the delivery had taken place.
