Mumbai: Human finger found in ice cream. A twenty-seven-year-old Orlem Brendan Serao, a doctor in Mumbai and a native of Malad, got finger from butterscotch ice cream. The finger was found from the ice cream ordered online.
The doctor’s sister ordered ice cream and other groceries through the app ‘Zepto’. The doctor says that after some time, he felt something blocking his tongue and when she examined it, she realized that it was a finger. But she said that she did not feel any difference in taste.
By the time she found the finger part, she had eaten half of the ice cream. The incident was immediately reported to the police and the part of the finger and the remaining ice cream were handed over as evidence. The police have confirmed that the part of the finger was taken from the ice cream.
It has been sent for forensic examination. The place where the ice cream is made and packed will also be inspected. Neither the ice cream company nor the distributor has yet commented on the incident. It is also suspected that this is a part of the finger that was severed by one of the workers in an accident while making ice cream.
