Congress leader and MP K Muraleedharan have reiterated that there are no meetings at the party. In reply to Mullappally, K Muraleedharan said that MPs will not contest in the Assembly. Criticisms are directed at the KPCC president and not in person. He said resigning from a post should not be such a problem.
The decision to stop the struggle was taken without consulting anyone. Muraleedharan also criticized that it seems to have been stopped due to fear. He had expressed interest in becoming the UDF convener. No one has told him about the reorganization. Muraleedharan also said that he would not cheat others as some people cheated K Karunakaran.
KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran had said yesterday that the MPs had come down from Delhi with the desire to return to Kerala and that it should not be accepted. Mullappally’s position is that K Muraleedharan, Adoor Prakash, Benny Behnan and Kodikunnil Suresh have the desire to be an assembly candidate and this cannot be accepted.
