Thrissur BJP candidate Suresh Gopi said that Padmaja Venugopal came to BJP on her own will. No one invited Padmaja. Suresh Gopi responded that the central leadership accepted Padmaja’s wish.
It is also acceptable to him if the central leaders say so. Suresh Gopi said let them decide if K Muralidharan and Padmaja are brother and sister. If he wins the Lok Sabha elections, he will bring an elevated highway in Thrissur. Suresh Gopi said that there is no religious sentiment and BJP’s vote percentage will increase.
Padmaja left the Congress and joined the BJP on March 7. After joining the BJP, Padmaja had responded that she faced severe neglect from the Congress leaders. She had also said that she will not contest this Lok Sabha election.
