Aarti is one of the most important rituals in Hindu rituals. Aarti has to be done very precisely. Aarti should be performed in a circle starting from the heart and ending in the middle of the eyebrow. Aarti can be performed by lighting five lighted lamps. Flowers, lamp dipped in ghee or oil and camphor should be present on the aarti. The aarti should also be performed for the five elements of nature namely sky, air, fire, water and earth. These can also be removed by showing the aarti that has been done to the Lord outside. Aarti can be done by showing five lighted lamps. By doing this Sattva is transformed into Rajas. This will create a kind of magnetic effect. It will flow into the body of the person doing the aarti and those around him. This is known as wave shielding. It will provide energy to the body.
