In 2014, a CBI team seized three phones from Salim Raj’s house. The phone has not been produced in court or returned to the defendant for six years. It is learned that the phones were lost during the investigation related to this. Officials explained that the phone went missing when the office changed.

But it is suspected that the loss of the crucial phone in the case was unnatural. There are indications that Salim Raj will approach the CBI court to find the phone and return it. The Central Bureau of Investigation has not named Salim Raj, the gunman of former chief minister Oommen Chandy, in its charge sheet in a Kadakampally land deal case.
