“PM to visit VSSC tomorrow to review preparations for Gaganyaan and meet scientists.”

Thiruvananthapuram: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC) in Thiruvananthapuram tomorrow. The Prime Minister is visiting VSSC to analyze the preparations for Gaganyaan, India’s flagship space programme, and meet with scientists. The Prime Minister will also attend the meeting of scientists from 10.45 am to 11.45 am.

The announcement of who will be the tourists in Gaganyan will also be made tomorrow. Selected travelers will be trained at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center in Russia and the Astronaut Training Facility in Bengaluru.

Four people were selected after various stages of training from around a dozen pilots of the Indian Air Force. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate three projects at VSSC, Satish Dhawan Space Center and IPRC Mahendragiri in Tamil Nadu tomorrow.
