New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with India’s proud stars who returned from the Paris Paralympics after the biggest medal hunt in history. The Prime Minister interacted with them for more than an hour. India won 29 medals in Paralympics this time. Sports Authority of India has prepared the ground for the meeting with the Prime Minister.
The country won 19 medals in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. But this time the Indian team won 29 medals with seven gold, nine silver and 13 bronze medals. Union Youth Welfare Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandavya and Indian Paralympic Committee chief Devendra Jajaria were also present.
The meeting was at his residence in Delhi. The Prime Minister listened carefully to the experiences of each one and accepted the gifts given by the stars.
