Palakkad: Despite losing as an independent candidate with the stethoscope symbol in the by-election, P. Sarin has been officially inducted into the CPM by State Secretary M.V. Govindan. Sarin, who arrived at the AKG Center in Thiruvananthapuram this morning, was welcomed by M.V. Govindan and A.K. Balan with a red shawl.
Speaking on the occasion, M.V. Govindan stated, “The party independent is now a part of the party.” He added that Sarin would work at the organizational level and that further responsibilities and assignments would be decided after deliberation.
