Actor Alencier has made a controversial statement claiming that legendary actors Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan do not know how to act. He made this remark during a press meet held as part of the promotion of the movie Narayaninte Moonnaam Makkal.
“Do you know what happened in my life? You were asking Joju all this time about acting in Tamil cinema. But did you know that I acted in Vettaiyan? I have acted alongside Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan.
They gave me a ticket to Mumbai. I am saying this honestly. I am speaking like an open book. I did not receive a single rupee as a salary. They gave me a ticket to Mumbai and provided accommodation in a five-star hotel. I was asked to sit there in a judge’s role.
I went there just to see how Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth act. I had no intention of pursuing a career in Tamil cinema or conquering the industry. I don’t think I will get any more opportunities in Tamil after saying this. I am sitting in the chamber now.
Rajinikanth sir and Amitabh Bachchan sir were on both sides. During my school days, I had seen scenes where Rajinikanth would stop a flying rocket with his lips. I was curious to see how he did all that. That’s why I went.
It was a one-day shoot. First, Rajinikanth came, performed an action scene, and left the courtroom. Later, Amitabh Bachchan entered with a lion-like roar and spoke. At that moment, the judge (in the scene) was shocked. I realized I couldn’t match their level. That was when I understood that neither of them actually knows how to act,” Alencier said.
