Rajinikanth likely to decide on his political entry tomorrow

Actor Rajnikanth will not be entering politics due to health reasons

Superstar Rajnikanth has contacted the office-bearers of his Rajni Makkal Mandram over the phone and has called up for an in person meeting tomorrow, 30th November. All have been asked to assemble at a marriage hall, Raghavendra Mandapam, owned by Rajnikanth in Kodambakkam on Monday morning.

Considering the meeting happening after the TN visit of BJP leader Amit Shah, both the actors fan and political analyst speculate that the actor is likely to make a prominent announcement post the meeting. It is to be noted that even while most of the political parties in the state have been denying that the actor’s entry will have no impact on them, the state BJP has been very vocal in supporting the superstar. The RMM functionaries said that there is a political vaccum in Tamil Nadu, and are hoping for good news tomorrow.

Also, a letter purportedly written by Rajnikanth in October has been leaked and went viral across the social media. In the letter, doctors have advised Rajnikanth against entering politics in view of his health and the ongoing pandemic, which posts challenges like conducting public meetings. Rajnikanth dismissed the contents of the letter as fake but admitted the part which talks about his health. In 2017, Rajnikanth announced that he will float a party and contest in all the 234 constituencies in the assembly election. During a press conference in March this year, Rajnikanth said he will not be in the race for the Chief Minister post, but will be heading the party while letting another team run the government if his party elected to power.
