Encounter Erupts Again in Jammu and Kashmir; Security Forces Intensify Search Operations

An encounter has erupted again between security forces and terrorists in Kathua, Jammu & Kashmir. This is the second such clash in three days. Reports suggest that three Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists are hiding in the Bilawar area, prompting security forces to seal off the region and intensify search operations.

The army has taken six members of a family into custody on suspicion of aiding the terrorists, including four women. The military operation in Kathua has been ongoing for five days following intelligence reports that Jaish terrorists infiltrated through the Line of Control.
