Sidharth’s death case, total 21 accused in the case,CBI has submitted an FIR

Mananthavadi: An FIR has been filed in the CBI court regarding the death of Pookod Veterinary University student Sidharth. The CBI filed the FIR in the Sidharthan case in the Mananthavadi Judicial First Class Magistrate Court. The FIR has been filed against a total of 21 accused.

Sections including murder are not included now. Departments will be added according to the progress of investigation. CBI Delhi Special Unit 2 is investigating the case.

According to the report, Siddharth was brutally tortured physically and mentally by the senior students and classmates and Siddharth took his own life out of frustration. The CBI took over the investigation on Friday.

According to the police report, the torture started on February 16 at 9 am and continued till 2 am on February 17. Siddharth was thrashed with belts and hands by his classmates and senior students.
All this made Siddharth stressed. Siddharth felt that he would not be able to complete the course. Siddharth may have felt that there was no other option but to take his own life, the police had initially registered a case of unnatural death. “Then, after recording the statements of the anti-ragging squad of the college and other students, it became clear that Siddharth was subjected to physical and mental abuse,” the report said.
