A total of 375 people died on the last day, according to figures released by the central health ministry. With this, the total death toll in the country was 12,948. The comforting thing is that the cure rate has gone up. Last year alone, 14,516 people got sick. With this, the cure rate has risen to 54.12%. So far 2,13,831 people have been cured of the disease.
At the same time, there has been an increase in the number of Kovid cases in Delhi. Yesterday, Kovid confirmed that 3,137 people had been diagnosed with the disease, making the total number of people affected. Yesterday, 66 deaths were reported.
Delhi Chief Minister Manish Sisodia today said 12,680 Kovid tests were conducted yesterday. Delhi’s health minister Satyender Jain, who is undergoing Kovid treatment, is in critical condition. Sathender Jain was admitted to the hospital on Monday following a report that he is likely to undergo plasma therapy today.
