It is reassuring to know that the number of survivors is increasing. Similarly, India has one of the lowest mortality rates in the world.
The total death toll in the country is 83,198, including 1,132 reported in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the number of COVID patients worldwide has crossed three crores. COVID has confirmed 30,042,299 people, according to Weldometer figures. 945,164 deaths have also been reported.
