Public activist Jomon Puthenpurakkal has leveled serious allegations against former Union Minister and BJP leader Alphonse Kannanthanam. Jomon alleged that the body was brought home from Delhi and cremated, concealing the fact that his mother had died of COVID. Jomon made the allegations through a Facebook post. At the same time, Kannanthanam clarified that the results of the Kovid test conducted twice before his death were also negative.
Kannanthanam had made it clear in a video the other day that his mother had died due to Kovid infection. It was after this that Jomon came to the scene with the allegation. note: “BJP leader and former Union Minister Alphonse Kannanthanam’s mother died on June 10, 2020, at a hospital in Delhi.
Prior to that, his mother had been staying with Kannanthanam at his official residence in Delhi for some time. When the news of the death was officially reported on the channels and in the newspapers at that time, nowhere was it said that Kovid’s mother had died of the disease.
The body was laid to rest on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at Kannimala’s home in Manimala, Kottayam district. I had gone to Manimala from Thiruvananthapuram to attend the funeral that day. There was a secret rumor that Kannanthanam’s mother had died of COVID.
