The patient is taken out of the lift at 6 o’clock on Sunday. The lift operator came on Sunday and opened the lift and the patient was taken out after a day and a half. Ravindran Nair’s family says there was no warning or sign that the lift was broken or out of order.
Ravindran, who was stuck in the lift of the medical college hospital, says that he stayed in the lift all night and no one picked up the phone. He got into the elevator and quickly went up. Then he slowly came down and stood. The mobile fell on the floor. Knocked on the door many times and called loudly. But no one listened. Ravindran Nair said that after calling the hospital authorities many times from the phone in his hand, no one came for help.
Ravindran Nair, who got stuck in the lift at 6 o’clock last Saturday, came out of the lift at 6 o’clock this morning. When Ravindran went missing hours after going to the hospital, the family lodged a complaint with the medical college police. Then an examination was conducted inside the hospital. Ravindran was found dead inside the lift while the police were investigating. Ravindran was seen by the lift operator who came to fix the technical fault.
Ravindran’s family said that there was no fault warning written in front of the lift and they will go ahead with the case. The Superintendent of the Medical College has stated that an inquiry will be conducted into the incident.
