Thiruvananthapuram: The High Court temporarily stayed the arrest of dancer Satyabhama. The High Court said that Satyabhama should not be arrested till the 27th of this month when the case will be re-considered. Justice K. Babu also directed the government to submit a reply to the demand to stop the arrest.
The Nedumangad Sessions Court had earlier rejected Satyabhama’s anticipatory bail plea. They came to the High Court questioning this. Adv.BA Allur Satyabhama, who appeared for Satyabhama, said that she did not name anyone and therefore the complaint will not stand.
In an interview given to a YouTube channel, Kalamandalam Satyabhama made caste abuse against Dr RLV Ramakrishnan. Mohini must always be the person who plays Mohiniyattam. If men play Mohiniyattam, they must be handsome men. Some are raven colored. Mohiniyattam is not worth it.
