Gangotri 2 peak conquered over 21,615 feet; Indo-Tibetan Border Police with historic victory

The ITBP team has conquered the 21,615-foot Gangotri 2 peak. The ITBP said the group had conquered the peak on September 26. The peak was captured by a nine-member team from the Dehradun headquarters of the Indo-Tibetan Border Force. The group reached the destination after climbing the mountain for eight hours a day.

The mission was led by Deputy Commander Deepender Singh Mann. Assistant Commandant Bhim Singh, Head Constable Rajesh Chandra Ramola, Constables Pradeep Panwar, Santander Kundi, Harinder Singh, Ashok Singh Rana, Arun Prasad, and Govind Prasad were in the group.

It is also noteworthy that the ITBP team has successfully undertaken a major mission in the wake of the Kovid 19 expansion. Gangotri is one of the most difficult peaks to climb. Gangotri Peak is located in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
