Gangster Jitendra Gogi among 3 eliminated in Delhi court

Gangster Jitendra alias Gogi, who was Delhi’s most wanted, was shot inside Rohini court on Friday. Delhi Police Special Cell on Friday confirmed that four people, including gangster Jitender Mann ‘Gogi’ were shot dead inside Rohini Court. The attackers, dressed as lawyers, opened fire on Jitendra, killing him on the spot. The incident happened in Rohini court number 206 when Jitendra was presented before the judge.

The Delhi Police’s Special Cell killed the two attackers in the ensuing shootout. Members of the Counter Intelligence team of the Special Cell who were with Gogi opened fire at the assailants, killing the two men, who were posing as advocates. Gogi received four bullet injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead. The attackers are believed to be from the Tillu Tajpuria gang. The shootout left three people dead and one woman lawyer injured. Around 35-40 rounds were fired during the incident. Police sources have added that the two miscreants were from the Tillu gang, who had entered the Rohini court dressed as lawyers. The Police are still verifying the names of both the miscreants of the Tillu gang. “Gogi was produced before Court and two people in the guise of lawyers were waiting for him. While the proceedings were underway, the shootout happened inside the courtroom and he was killed. The two assailants were killed by Delhi police,” sources privy to the incident told. This incident raises concern over lackadaisical security in courts of the National Capital.
