Gold Smuggling Case | CPM provides legal aid to accused in gold smuggling case: K Surendran

Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president K Surendran said that the CPM is providing legal assistance to the accused in the gold smuggling case. For this, CPM affiliated lawyers are camping in Ernakulam. The decision of the Kerala Police to take Swapna Suresh into custody is a mystery. This is a move to destroy the evidence and save the defendants. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan is alleging RSS-Congress links to divert attention from the gold smuggling case, Surendran said.

What morals does Kodiyeri have to justify the Chief Minister? In Dubai, who settled the Rs 13 crore financial deal to pay Kodiyeri’s son Arabi? How the DNA case in Maharashtra was settled in the name of the son. He has to answer whether the victim paid the Rs 5 crore demanded. Surendran said no CPM leader was qualified to preach political morality and ethics.

BJP national general secretary Bhupendra Yadav has asked whether the office of the Kerala model chief minister, which has been hailed all over the world, is itself complicit in gold smuggling. He also said that the Chief Minister of Kerala was assisting in the smuggling of gold as the world was fighting against Corona. He was speaking at the inauguration of a video conference of O Rajagopal MLA’s fast at the BJP headquarters demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

What is going on in the state is the biggest corrupt regime. The gold smuggling case is more serious than the Lavlin case. The office of the Chief Minister is providing assistance for treasonous activities. A minister in Pinarayi’s cabinet himself has established an illicit relationship with the accused in the smuggling case. The Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister has been directly involved in international smuggling. Minister KT Jalil is in doubt. The minister approached them by violating all the rules. Minister Jaleel’s connection with Swapna Suresh, the main accused in the case, should be investigated. Bhupendra Yadav demanded that the Chief Minister clarify his position on this.

Meanwhile, Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan will fast tomorrow demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for taking moral responsibility for the gold smuggling case. BJP national general secretary Muraleedhara Rao will inaugurate the fast at his home in Delhi. There will be a virtual rally of BJP workers in Kollam district in the evening to mark the end of the fast.
