Hezbollah Leader in Lebanon, Majdal Shams, Killed in Israeli Airstrike

Majdal Shams, head of Lebanon’s Hezbollah terror group, was killed in an Israeli airstrike. Fuad Shukar, Hezbollah’s most senior military commander and the right-hand man of militant leader Hassan Nasrallah, was among those killed.

Washington had announced a $5 million bounty on Shukur’s head. That is 50 lakh US dollars. The slain terrorist leader was also a senior military adviser to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. The United States is investigating the 1983 bombing of a US Marine barracks in Beirut, which killed 241 US soldiers.

Israel launched a massive operation that took America by surprise. The now-slain Hezbollah leader had control of much of Hezbollah’s most advanced weaponry, including precision-guided missiles, cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles, long-range rockets and UAVs. Israeli Defense Minister Gallant said that those who carry out terrorist attacks against the State of Israel will be sentenced to death without trial.
