A complaint has been filed alleging that an eight-month-old baby is in critical condition after consuming the wrong medicine given by a medical shop in Pazhayangadi, Kannur. It is reported that the shop provided a different medicine in an excessive dose instead of the one prescribed by the doctor.
The police have registered a case based on the complaint filed by the child’s relative. The baby is currently undergoing treatment in critical condition,The liver has been affected. The health of the complainant’s brother Sameer’s eight-month-old baby has deteriorated.
On March 8, the baby was taken for treatment due to a fever. The case has been registered against Khadija Medicals in Kannur.
