Representatives of Unitas, the company that won the contract for the construction of the Vadakancherry Life Mission project, told the investigating agencies that they had to pay a commission of Rs 4.25 crore. During interrogation by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED), it was revealed that the commission had to pay Rs 20 crore for the construction of houses for the homeless. Unitec says Swapna Suresh has taken two commissions in connection with the project. Sandeep, Swapna, and Sarith together demanded a 6 percent commission. Of this, Rs 55 lakh was transferred through Sandeep’s bank account. According to UNITEC, the Consul General has asked for a 20 percent commission to award the contract.
The money was deposited in the account of Sandeep’s ISO Monk. This money was shared by Sandeep, Swapna, and Sarit. The Consul General demanded that the commission is in dollars. Subsequently, Rs 3 crore 80 lakh was paid to the Consul General. Out of this, Rs 1 crore was demanded from the Dream Consul General. After receiving this amount, he tells Unitak to meet Lord Shiva. The second purchase of the dream is said to be a bribe for one crore government officials. In the Rs 20 crore project, the bribe was Rs 4 crore 35 lakh.
