Nine-year-old Sreethesh, who was injured in a stampede during the Pushpa 2 premiere show, died. He was confirmed brain dead while undergoing treatment. The child’s mother Revathi had died earlier.
The tragic incident took place during the premiere show at Sandhya Theatre. Revathi, a native of Dilsukhnagar, and her family had arrived at Sandhya Theatre for the premiere show of Pushpa 2 at the insistence of her son Sreetaj, who is a big fan of Allu Arjun. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun arrived at the theatre and fans gathered to see the star.
Revathi and her son Sreetej collapsed in the rush while trying to enter the theater. Revathi and Sreetej were immediately admitted to the hospital, but Revathi died. Allu expressed his condolences on Revathi’s death. Allu also announced that he will provide financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh to the family.
